Highland Lynx Queen Electra

Electra was our very first Highland Lynx cat and it was because of her that we fell in love with this exotic breed of cats. She has proven herself in producing beautiful Highland Lynx kittens and is extremely intelligent and loving. Electra acts every inch a Highland Lynx Queen in her elegant, regal manner. And yet she is full of sweetness and affection. She has polydactyl paws, a full length tail, curled ears and the most stunning emerald green eyes we've ever seen! (And we promise we did not change the color of her eyes for these photos. They just naturally glow in certain lighting!)

As you can see from looking at our cats, some Highland Lynx kittens are born with tails and some are born with naturally short tail - bobtail kittens. (We do not dock the tails of our kittens.) Although Electra has a tail, her babies will often be born with naturally short tails. Breeders have learned that it's unwise to remove all tailed cats from their breeding programs, as it can eventually cause health problems from lack of tailbone.
